I'm sick of Bronco's crap. Calling the Cougar Club Pharisees and Sadducees is the last straw for me. If Bronco wants to play his games in a vacuum where he doesn't get any criticism, he needs to do it at another school. Maybe Ricks can open up football again where he can coach and make football priority #5. Does he realize that his biting the hand that feeds him? The fans and the Cougar Club in particular are the people that make it possible for him to have this job. Does anyone think the church would still be running a football program without donations to the athletic department? The Church won't allow the athletics program to use tithing funds. That why Ricks doesn't have sports anymore.

BYU is at a crossroads. I know they want to take the next step, but are they willing to do what it takes to get there? I think the next two seasons/off-seasons will be huge. I'll always be a fan, but the money is going to dry up fast with quality home games and quality wins.
lol he doesn't even understand his analogy. It makes no sense.

Bronco should stick with football. Hell, if we are using biblical analogies, he ought to clean his own house first or he should remove the beam from his own eye.

No kidding. That might be the dumbest thing he has ever said.

Remember the old cougar call in show? Bronco could learn something about answering dumbass questions from little old ladies. LaVell did it all the time.

Sure, most fans and boosters don't know what they are talking about. So what? They pay your salary, so

How many stupid questions did Lavell suffer through during all those years.

Bronco's thin skinned reaction is even worse hearing this. Some little ole granny sends you into a tirade about CC members being pharisee's and saducee's? I certainly hope this CBer is wrong and if he is right he shoudn't be throwing that out there as an excuse for what Bronco said.

              I just...I don't know guys...

Sophomore punter Brian Smith (Mountain View) sang "Be Still My Soul." Senior defensive back Travis Uale, sophomore offensive lineman Manaaki Vaitai and junior offensive lineman Walter Kahaiali'i teamed up to sing "When There's Love at Home." All 35 players joined in singing the primary song "We'll Bring the World His Truth." Junior offensive lineman Austin Nielsen and freshman defensive lineman Travis Tuiloma offered the invocation and benediction, respectively.
"They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

The only positive from that quote is seeing Senior in front of Travis Uale. Our RB's are bad, but it doesn't even come close to how bad Uale is. The fact that the only other player to give him a run for the job was Hague in his first year trying to play the position since high school, make me scared for the future of the defensive backfield.

I don't think there's been any question that Bronco's an ass. He has always treated fans like trash. I'm surprised this is news.

What time does Mr. Persecuted do his press stuff? Doesnt he speak to the media on Monday mornings? Or is it Tuesdays?

                          It's over already.

He said film confirmed the defense played tough to the end.

Also said he hopes none of his staff were there yesterday and that he didn't speak to anyone on his staff yesterday. Work begins Mondays at 6am.

Said that Doman will remain on the sideline and won't make him go to the booth. The sideline is where he can help the offense the most.

Didn't think Uale's hit was dirty.

Also, said that BYU lost a lot of credibility with ESPN the way they played. Said that's one of the dangers of independence, their contract, and exposure. It will take time to rebuild that.

That last quote is the only worthwhile thing he said IMO.

"As expected, the players are pretty upset, pretty shaken up about Saturday. Fortunately, those players that were active LDS going into the game still seem to be active LDS this morning. We are monitoring it closely, looking at film...trying to figure out how we can continue to improve. These firesides have to improve. That is all on me and I look forward to the next fireside to see how some of our LDS players respond."

There is actually strong logic in that approach. Given that the offense is rarely on the field and spends most of its time on the sidelines, what better place for the offensive coordinator to hang out?
