I have the same feeling going in to this game as i did against USU last year. BYU should win but I haven't seen anything during the year that tells me the offense can score more than one touchdown a game. UCF is averaging just about 200 yards passing each game and about 220 yards rushing. Most of those stats coming from Godfrey. Their defense has only given up 13 offensive points in 3 games (tough to judge how good because the teams they played aren't exactly offensive powerhouses). I'm more interested in finding out how good their defensive line is. BYU wins games this year only if they can start picking up yards on the ground. If the offense can open up some running lanes, BYU wins by 10 or more. If not... they probably don't win this.

    Edit:

I like the sound of this

FIU (3-0) capitalized on turnovers and gashed big holes through UCF's defensive line, claiming a 17-10 win over UCF (2-1).
O'Leary said it appeared the offensive line's pass protection was soft at times, but he added Godfrey had to do a better job of getting rid of the ball when FIU sent an extra pass rusher.

      Disgusting.
Perhaps you were expecting the cover of Sean Combs' new book?

Regarding the game, I'm glad it's a short week. It's that much sooner that the team has a chance to redeem itself. Let's go, Cougars!!!

Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

GMan said to watch for Doman to start using the pass to set up the run. I don't know where he's getting that idea.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I will be there. I'm finally starting to get amped for this game. Can't wait for our guys to be able to put the last one behind them for good.

            Go Cougars!

I don't care that BYU lost, it's the WAY that they lost.

They gave up like a bunch of pussies. There was no spirit on that sideline, and they rolled over just a bit into the 3rd quarter. I can't watch a team that quits as soon as the opposing team gets one or two plays in their favor.

So how do you get a football team fired up coming off a big loss?

Easy, get them some black unis...

Can someone get on that for the cougars before tonight?

Its Game Day and sadly, this thread is not at the top nor is there much excitement.. I know we are coming off a horrible beat-down, but I am excited to see BYU bounce back and show us that the Utah game was a fluke and BYU is back..

For me, this game will be interesting. If it is close game then we have a lot of work to do. If they score often then I hope it is of things to come..

PS; I realized that last week I did not have my BYU cup out at all during the game. I apologize and I will be drinking from it with Mtn Dew and chomping on wings and pizza this evening.....

                  GO COUGS!!!!!!!!

Screw everyone else here that isn't pumped for the game tonight and worried about conference expansion. I'm excited and I'm going to be there in my seat.

The last thing this team needs is for everyone to bail on them.

BYU is going to win tonight. It is our destiny.

                        I BELIEVE!!!

Most recent line has BYU -2. For a home game, that is almost even money in my opinion. Most of the so called "experts" have BYU winning this game. To you other gamblers... shaping up to be a good day to bet on the cougars.

Anyone interested in meeting up at Tucanos for a pregame feast?

I can't quite figure out whether I'm screwed or not. I am mostly pumped for the game tonight and quite worried about conference expansion. I am also going to Tucanos, but for lunch, not dinner.

We'll probably head to Tucanos around 3:00. Gorge for 90 minutes or so and then head to the stadium.
