Ouch. Didn't see that coming. I DVR'd the 2nd half but don't think I'll watch it. At halftime I was feeling pretty good, but the wheels obviously came off pretty badly. Oh, well. We got beat by the better team tonight. I hope Wynn can bounce back. He was looking very good in the 1st half.

-Utah's safeties are not very good. Their angles are bad, their tackling is inconsistent, and they're ok in pass coverage.
-We're not good enough to get trounced on special teams. In fact, we have to win special teams to be successful. Fumbling the opening kickoff killed us.
-Credit to Washington. Chris Polk is the best RB in the P12; they didn't make any mistakes; Price managed the game well; their defensive line beat ours; and their overall defense has good ball skills. Also, their fans traveled well.
-Utah missed too many opportunities in the 2nd quarter. They were marching up and down, but not only did they fail to get touchdowns, they failed to get any points. The difference in talent and quality is too thin for Utah to stall inside the 10.
-Points before halftime are huge. It was huge for us against BYU, and it was huge for the Huskies.
We've got a lot of work to do, because ASU is better than UW."I don't know the origin of said bitch booming."-Art Vandelay

Best in the Pac-12 is pretty high praise considering LaMichael James also plays there. But if it makes you feel better about your porous d-line and terrible linebackers go for it.Originally posted by BoylenOver View Post-Utah's safeties are not very good. Would you say no to Bronco?Originally posted by il Padrino Ute View PostAre the BYU players not allowed to say no if asked to speak at a fireside?

Of course they can say 'no'. And they can decline to take the sacrament. Either way it brings the scrutiny of the hco, and everybody else will assume somebody has been naughty again, and not just in a Vanilla cappuccino way.Originally posted by il Padrino Ute View PostAre the BYU players not allowed to say no if asked to speak at a fireside?

They don't have to play Lamichael James or I doubt they'd be thinking that.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostBest in the Pac-12 is pretty high praise considering LaMichael James also plays there. But if it makes you feel better about your porous d-line and terrible linebackers go for it.

At least they didn't quit when the offense kept turning the ball over.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostBest in the Pac-12 is pretty high praise considering LaMichael James also plays there. Not only would I say no to Bronco, I would pat him on the head and tell him to run along.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostWould you say no to Bronco?

Yeah that might make it worse if they always take that bad of angles and miss that many tackles.Originally posted by BoylenOver View PostAt least they didn't quit when the offense kept turning the ball over.
If I am being honest I think the D-line is probably slightly above average but the linebackers and safeties especially in run support are very poor.*Banned*

You are too kind. I'd laugh at him and walk away. I might even suggest that emotion is a part of football and shouldn't be ignored. Then I'd tell him that the Lord doesn't care about football.Originally posted by il Padrino Ute View PostNot only would I say no to Bronco, I would pat him on the head and tell him to run along.
