It seems clear at this point that the Utah O-line has had only one good game this season -- against BYU. We were worried about the OL going into that game but they surprised us with a good performance, giving Wynn all day to make throws. We expected the OL to do well against UW's bad and depleted DL but they instead made the Huskies look rather good.
So, what was the difference against BYU, who was supposed to have one of the best front seven of the teams on Utah's schedule? I can only guess that it was the rivalry factor. Throw out the records and everything else, Utah was highly motivated for that game.Col. Klink: "Staff officers are so clever."

Col. Klink: "I didn't mean you sir, you're not clever."

I am guessing it has more to do with the fact that BYU rushed 2 sometimes 3 and dropped 8 and 9 in to coverage on almost every play. On top of that before the scrubs were put in and BYUs defense quit John White had something like 19 carreis for 57 yards.Originally posted by Flattop View PostIt seems clear at this point that the Utah O-line has had only one good game this season -- against BYU.
