Excellent. At first i thought, what the heck are you talking about. There is one good game. Then I realized a close loss to Auburn and a win over Weber St. isn't enough proof. Have to wait and see how they do this week before we can declare it a good game.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostThe home schedule is all crappy teams this season

fair enough. I guess there is one good game on the home schedule. The Aggies looked really tough in their single loss. I think the entire country would agree with me on that.Originally posted by byu71 View PostExcellent. At first i thought, what the heck are you talking about. There is one good game. Good news is starting next year Larry Scott will be begging them to call their local cable provider to try and get the Pac-12 regional networks on TV>Originally posted by kccougar View PostI would think the Ute fans would just be happy the Holy War got their team on national television.*Banned*

Touché, sort of.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostThe home schedule is all crappy teams this season
It's getting tougher to get tix. I see there's a limit of 8 tickets per purchaser for the Utah game:

I think they are taking a tip from the Utah ticket office, which used to require you to purchase the entire season if you wanted the BYU gameOriginally posted by LA Ute View PostTouché, sort of.

I can recall at least two occasions when Utah was on national tv and it was THE ONLY GAME SHOWN that evening. If I recall correctly they came just shortly after the new year.Originally posted by kccougar View PostI would think the Ute fans would just be happy the Holy War got their team on national television.
And we didn't need byu or a holy war to get that exposure. As I recall the Utes won both of those contests where they were featured on national tv and had no competition for fans' eyeballs.
Being one of a number of games being broadcast nationally at 7:15 MST maybe be a special kind of high for Cougar fans, but Utah has done much, much better. The Holy War is over, and Utah won - Federal Ute

I heard that it was because most BYU fans thought that the season was over after the Texas loss. You better get the word out that the second biggest game of the year still needs to be played!Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostThat is due to Utah not selling their whole allotment yet. They are scared of getting waxed.

Either you don't have HDTV, or you haven't been watching Wynn.Originally posted by LA Ute View PostWhy would they be scared of that? It's not even done in Provo, is it?

Isn't it obvious that the guy is TERRIFIED? I mean, he's been so focused on the waxing he's going to get in Provo that he couldn't even concentrate during the last two games.
Someone should tell him to just shave that baby off. He'd feel much better.

Maybe you didn't see the box score. BYU already beat Ole Miss.

OK, I have to give you touché credit for that one. But I still don't think waxing is allowed in Provo. Something about some apostle not approving of it.Originally posted by Eddie View PostEither you don't have HDTV, or you haven't been watching Wynn.

I appreciate all of this conference smack and the "we don't care about the BYU game" nonsense. Makes it a lot easier to hate Utah.
