      I know.

I felt like this last November, too. Up until kickoff I just didn't give a damn. But once the game started I was more nervous than I had been at any point that season. Then, after Burton blocked the kick, BYU fans started telling me that I shouldn't enjoy the win. Then I felt like Al Pacino in Godfather Part III. Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in.

I guess we'll see what happens on Saturday.

I love how Heaps hits guys in stride, something Wynn hasn't done much of this year.

Heaps hit that Ole Miss and Texas DB so perfectly they didn't even have to change their gait.

I have figured it out. I have gotten more cranky about everything the last year.

That I am sure is why I am fed up with all the hype that ends up coming up short. The hype about the offense and the egg it has layed is nothing new.

I now get so tired of hearing how awesome we are because of W/L records and go back and see how we obtain those awesome records.

Next the hype on independence. People are knocking our doors down to get on our schedule. You will be amazed at the teams that want to play us. Throw us a bone and let us know about one of them, please!!

Someone knock some sense into me helping me to realize I am not looking at facts.

What is our record against ranked teams the during the Bronco era.

I am also right now in a foul mood because of what I heard happened to a contributor to the program down in Texas. Why the hell do people at BYU think they can treat contributors like shit and they will ask for more? It seems they feel they are church members and will show up no matter how they are treated.

Sorry if I am dampening anyone elses excitement. Kiss it off as the rantings of an old fart.

Wynn hit two USC guys right in stride, but he is smarter, he hit two guys in stride that have no hands.

How utah was even in that game with SC was an amazing feat all by itself. SC marched on them and had two terrible miscues that took points off the board. Wynn threw 2 pick sixes that the LB's were so suprised by they dropped them. I am convinced that SC just doesnt know how to put teams away.

the pick was a great play by Lacy, and the other was a strip of the ball. What you call miscues, the rest of the college football world realizes were good defensive plays.

In a game between USC and Texas, who do you think wins? I know who I'm taking

What two weeks of college football have taught us about BYU and Utah:

BYU is 1-1 with a win against an SEC team and a loss against a Big 12 team. Texas beat Rice 34-9. Rice, in week 2, beat Purdue 24-22.

Utah is 1-1 with a win against a 1AA team and a loss against a Pac 12 team. USC beat Minnesota 19-17. Minnesota, in week 2, lost to New Mexico State 28-21.

It's early in the season and we don't know a whole lot. But based on what has happened so far, Utah has lost to a team barely capable of beating a team that lost to New Mexico State at home (yikes!).

BYU at least has a win against a team from the SEC under their belts.

I really have no doubt we will beat Utah and we are the better team.

That will provide me some solace while I watch us play in the Arm Forces Bowl and watch the Utes in the Holiday Bowl.

Lame smack between both of you. It's like you are living vacariously through USC and Texas' wins over Utah and BYU.

This thread is proving that the rivalry game is lamer this year than in years past.
