BYU has either a coaching problem or a player problem and I'm not going to rule out both as the problem.

Do sports fans actually enjoy that kind of discussion? I can't imagine anything less interesting.

Meanwhile, I'm starting to hate Bronco. All the stuff about football coming 5th and calling people pharisees when they ask perfectly acceptable questions about boneheaded coaching decisions wears thin pretty quick when his on-field product is a clusterfuck.

So who are we missing that still needs to turn the ball over? Jacobsen, Hoffman, and Apo and Holt.

In his defense, the shotgun snap wasn't Heaps' fault. He only exacerbated the situation.

Well maybe Doman will be comfortable opening up the playbook here. I hate how conservative he gets in the second half.

BYU football, it's becoming clear, has been in decline since 2008. We held on with NFL talent in the Pitta/Hall/Unga years. But our football 5th staff fields a team that routinely gets thrashed by Utah and TCU. How much more evidence do we need?

It is foolish to expect different results doing the same old things.

I don't think anyone calling the shots for BYU's offense understands blocking schemes. How many times does Heaps have to get killed on some shitty play action call? There's a reason BYU only had to start two different QBs in Bronco's first five seasons.

They could have called PI there.

These assholes jump up and down like they won the Super Bowl after every single play. By assholes I mean college football players.

Maybe if the quality of game play weren't eclipsed by an average Hartsville High Foxes game, I might be more impressed, but after every single play some fool can be seen jumping around wildly over a quotidian routine outcome.

                              That was bullshit. Pass interference.

Our defense is going to be pissed after this game. They've given up one long drive for a td and a couple other plays but not much else. Utah is just forcing turnovers or we are just handing them the ball.
