Well that wasn't the most fun. Barkley was awesome, one of the best QB performances I've seen in Autzen. Southern Cal flat out owned the first 40 minutes of the game. Those two WRs are special and the Oregon Dline that had gotten so much pressure against Washington and Stanford was dominated by the Trojans line.

Chip was awful at the end of the half and game with clock management. Ducks were at the 32 with 1:30 left and 3 timeouts. Then 2 plays later there is 30 seconds left and we still have 3 timeouts?!

Disappointing night, glad they fought back and made it a fun finish. I still hate kickers. Win the conference and Rose Bowl that's been the goal since the LSU loss, the craziness of last night just gave us reason to dream.

Too bad the champ game can't be a rematch.

Yep, Barkley was ridiculously good last night and the O-line was lights out in protection and run blocking. As you mentioned, there are probably just a handful of guys in both the NFL and college who can make some of the throws he makes.

The other key to this game was the run defense in the first half. SC sold out to stop LMJ and it worked beautifully. If you can limit Oregon's big plays in the run game, you have a chance against Oregon - USC's speed and gameplan made it happen and ultimately it allowed them to hang on once Oregon got rolling with Barner in the second half.

Kiffin deserves all the credit in the world - what a fantastic job he's done this year coaching up a team that really has nothing to play for.

Chip admitted that it was hard to let him go because his 8 tackles and 1 INT in 6 games (Nevada, MSU, AZ, ASU, Cal and Col) were huge in that tough part of the schedule. He actually didn't play in the last 6 games of the season.
