Interview with the Green Mamba from yesterday. Very understated, no ego despite his status. This is a good kid. You can tell he feels the weight of it all but wants to really perform.

Despite the fumbles, the kid had a pretty impressive debut, esp given the circumstances. He is going to be good. Playing Nevada will probably do wonders for his confidence.

                Oh, Cliff Harris...
I have nothing else to say at this time.

DAT was the most impressive Duck on offense by far on Saturday night. The fumble on offense was simply a product of the fact he probably hasn't been caught from behind in years, if ever. I haven't seen a good replay of the kick return one.

I said to a friend that by the end of the year this kid could be the focal point of the offense, he is a different level talent at skill position than anything Oregon has ever had before. I have not yet been able to bring myself to watch the game again, but on Saturday night I counted that he lined up at 5 positions, X, Y, slot, Tazer and RB. With I believe catch or carry from every spot, that is pretty impressive for a a true frosh.

Hopefully DT is able to find some rhythm, I was excited for him to make the jump from first year to second year starter, instead he was overly excited and looked far to hesitant to use his feet. The read-option doesn't work if the QB keeping it isn't an option, it become just a dive play with 5-7 guys keying on it.

I have absolutely no confidence in a victory today. Sometimes life gives you lemons and you make lemonade, sometimes life kicks you in the genitals and you fall down crying. Today feels like the start of the latter.

Is there any reason to believe Nevada won't be really bad this year?

They beat Boston College last week, they are probably going to beat Oregon today. So that's the start to a decent year.

I predict Oregon by 20+ pts.

Well I'm really dumb, the Boston College game was their bowl last year. Nevada started the season with the super awesome week 1 bye, is there anything worse as a fan than week 1 bye? Well getting stomped in prime time, but I digress.
