I'm not interested in these kinds of smack exchanges with BYU fans any longer. How can we get some more USC fans over here?

Goat, you remind me in some respects of Gen. George Patton.Originally posted by Goatnapper'96 View PostI recall when Utenation was embittered towards Wynn when he slid early and did not get a first down scrambling against ND. Then it came out that his shoulder was injured.
Does anyone think Ty Detmer, on his death bed, would slide early before getting a first down?
The only similarities I see between Ty and Wynn is: 1.) that they both use the letter Y as a vowel at some point in their name. 2.) That Norm Chow is able to use them both to make the opposing fanbase in the Y-U rivalry whine like the Women of Srbrnca.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

Who do you think hopes Wynn is injured?Originally posted by Scorcho View Postas of today, the limited throw count for Wynn has been removed.
However, I doubt that will quench the desire for some on this forum who hope he is still injured.
I certainly don't.
To be completely honest - I think sometimes I simply enjoy stirring the pot and arguing about things a little too much. And I have to admit that I get a chuckle out of seeing fan angst now and then.
But really - I hope Wynn is healthy for the start of the season, and remains that way throughout.
As a Y fan, I hope he is a little sore on Sept 17th after getting knocked around a little - but in no way do I want this to result in an injury.

I'm just waiting for LA to post another link to another QB awards list or SU to declare his indifference again.Originally posted by Flattop View PostWho is protesting what?"Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

I said earlier that you remind me of Jack Lemmon. I'm expecting a CUFfie for you soon for your performance in "Save the Cougar."Originally posted by YOhio View Post

I'm just hoping we don't get any posts from outraged Patton fans, mocking me for daring to compare you with the General.Originally posted by Goatnapper'96 View PostI did better with book learnin'. He did better with soldier'n.

Patton fans are not stringpullers, unlike the respective fanbases for BYU and Utah.Originally posted by LA Ute View PostI'm just hoping we don't get any posts from outraged Patton fans, mocking me for daring to compare you with the General.
