There's no sting in UD's comments. He's echoing what Bronco said at media day. There is no conference championship. Our bowl game is already decided. So the goal is to win every game on the schedule and hope that it's good enough for a BCS bowl or even NC game.

And that's not much different from any other non-AQ team. For every good non-AQ team such as BYU, Utah (pre-PAC12), TCU, and Boise State, the goal has been to win every game to get to a BCS bowl or the NC game. For teams trying to do that, the conference championship isn't as important. I don't think the focus and goals of 2011's team will be much different from those of teams the past few years.

Sure set lofty goals nothing wrong with that. Of course there is a difference between lofty and unattainable. MNC for byu is latter until the system changes or they get in the Big 12.
