I am pretty sure that I thought the Utes would win last year. I also know for sure that I was confident of the Utes victories in 2003, 2004, and 2008. Most other years you are right, I'm an eternal pessimist and likely expected a loss.

You also can't blame him for snickering at BYU's claims that they are competing for a MNC. The only people who think that BYU has a shot at the MNC game are BYU. I guess there is a remote chance that BYU could get in if they are undefeated, no one from the MWC is undefeated, and every single BCS school has at least 2 losses.

No one, including Bronco, thinks BYU is in the running for a MNC this year or has said they were.

BYU has not conference when asked what they would be competing for since they have no conference, they respond, "A National Championship." I hate to say this but you are letting your fanhood affect your intelligence. I don't think you could find a single player or coach in BYU's program who would answer affirmatively to the question, "Are you going to be in the running for a National Title this year." Maybe I'm wrong.

Good thing you didn't go in to coaching. I hope Kyle takes the same approach as you do with the Utes. Guys lets be honest we are not in the running for shit this year no reason to really set any goals lets just not embarrass ourselves. I agree thats what Bronco and all college head coaches should say. No reason to set lofty goals.
