Missing out on the Big East is not a big deal. AQ is likely over and the Big East TV deal would likely have sucked. We would have been stuck in a far flung version of the MWC.
I hope we aren't in love with independence and will be older and wiser during the next shuffle. By then we will have fulfilled our commitment to the WCC and be "free" to join a real conference.
Like others have said, winning cures everything. Even late season patsies are meaningful if you win the big games in September and October.
If you have seen my other posts you will recognize that I think the ship has actually sailed on BYU football, but part of me still likes to have a little hope.Comment
