Josh Weeks is on display on CBS Sports right now. He's #82 on the white team.

I watched this all-star game last night. Weeks only had 1 ball thrown to him and made a nice catch picking it off the turf. He is big and Tom Lemming said if he didn't live in such a rural part of Arizona he would be a high 4 star kid.

The most impressive player I saw by far was Moana Ofahengue he was all over the field, and just killing the West teams offensive line. For some reason he played for the East and he was everywhere. I was really impressed. They mentioend he is tripping to Arizona this week and that BYU and Utah are in his top 5.

Jared Afalava was also on the roster but I did not see him play in the game. One other player mentioned was Lowell Lotulelei he was the defensive MVP of the junior combine and will be a big time prospect next year.

Mangum having a rough night. Threw a pick in the first half because he got hit from behind as he was throwing and the ball sailed. Came right back and started moving the ball with two nice passes. Then gets pressured and rolls out to his left squares up and hucks a perfect bomb to a guy in double coverage and he drops it in the end zone. Because of an injury to the other team, he switched teams at the half and is now playing QB and doesn't know the plays. Had another huge play dropped on a perfect throw on 3rd down. On his next possession he hits his guy who juggles the pass and gets picked off.

Maybe BYU finally got a new recruiter for Texas. The last I heard he had given his verbal to UCLA.

He has supposedly given a "soft" verbal to UCLA. And rumor is he would have committed to BYU a year ago had they offered.

Strange, since recruiting OL from Texas has paid a boatload of dividends over the years for BYU.

Considering he has tripped to those schools (USC tomorrow) and BYU barely offered a week ago or so I am not surprised. I have to believe someone at BYU effed up. Who is slated to fill Brown's spot? Blair? He's a no-mo right? So no mission.

I think he came to our camp last year and according to rumor would have committed had we offered. Now he apparently recently visited BYU and didn't enjoy it at all -- not sure if that has to do with the fact that BYU didn't offer way back. It makes very little sense to me how an LDS recruit of his caliber didn't have an offer until a week ago.
