Is that one of the Three Nephites catching that pass? I don't remember Harline having those kind of muscles.Originally posted by kccougar View PostThere are BYU-themed children's books as well...

I don't want to hear about any lame excuse about Utah's possible involvement in some nighmarish PAC-16 scenario, you WHFB!!!!!"Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

Hey, I have a dog in that Big 12 fight. Besides, I've repeatedly said I want BYU in the Big 12. Now get lost unless you have something useful to say!Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostAnd thank you for you contribution to the Big 12 Expansion Thread.

The Utah v USC contest should be a rousing event. I hope the two squads are ready to take the field on Saturday."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

Also, looks like Utah isn't a big draw. 2 for 1 tickets for sale.

Looks like my brother has to work Saturday morning, so we won't get to campus until an hour before kickoff (and that's if traffic is forgiving).
DDD or anyone else that knows, what's my best bet for parking that close to gametime? If I'm coming from San Diego, is I-5 my best option? Also, how late is Heritage Hall open? TIA"I don't know the origin of said bitch booming."-Art Vandelay

First of all, WTF? An hour before kickoff and you miss everything. Heritage will be closed, as well. I think it closes once the game starts.Originally posted by BoylenOver View PostLooks like my brother has to work Saturday morning, so we won't get to campus until an hour before kickoff (and that's if traffic is forgiving).

Second, I would go 5, 605, 105, 110 because you get diamond almost the entire way. If you were more familiar with the area, I would suggest specific surface streets but that would take you right through South Central and let's just go ahead and skip that option for now since you do not know where you are going. You should be fine with traffic once you get to South County up through LA at that hour on a Saturday. leaving San Diego might blow, though.
You can pay to park at any number of lots along Fig, including the Galen Center lot. All the campus lots will likely be full by then. There are also plenty of spots along the Broadway corridor, it is free, but you might have to walk a few blocks, no big deal. Let me know and I can give you more specific areas if you need them. Parking in the structures usually costs 20 bucks.
Wow, that blows dude. Hopefully your brother can get off work. Or find his own ride.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Yeah, I'm really disappointed. Thanks for the suggestions. I like the idea of parking on Broadway and hoofing it over.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostFirst of all, WTF? If you are going that route, check out parking on Hill or Grand, as well. And stay North of around 37th or so.Originally posted by BoylenOver View PostYeah, I'm really disappointed. Thanks for the suggestions. I like the idea of parking on Broadway and hoofing it over.
Do NOT go South of 39th or MLK. Got that? During the day, no worries, but at night post game, not well lit. Rollin 40s with their Florida Marlins gear. Don't mess. Not worth the risk to save 20 bucks.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.
