    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Do you think Bronco is a "knows his stuff" regarding defense better than KW?

Yes, karma is a bitch and by predicting that BYU gets to a (fake) NC game, karma will come back and slap you silly.

Up until November 27, 2010 I would have said no. Now, I am not sure. I thought Bronco out coached KW last year. Talent wise, BYU had no business making that game close last year.

I think in the last two years Bronco has given priority to his administrative/managerial responsibilities instead of to coaching, which made him less effective. I think it would be unwise for him to give the DC position to someone else. The players respond well to him and in order to maximize their talent he needs to maximize his contact with them.

                    I agree with this.

It was certainly a tragic comedy of errors that facilitated the Ute victory. I think the talent level was closer than you indicate. Between BYU's youth and the coaching instability it took time for the talent to rise and to be properly utilized.

I think BYU is on the verge of a very nice run.

There are at least 10 guys. Don't let your bias hold you back.
HL is not a fan of Jordan Pendleton and neither am I.

But I agree with CJ about BYU's oline.

I also like Heaps, Quezada and Hoffman at the skill positions over anything Utah has.

Then there's Van Noy, Kaveinga and Fuga on defense.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Good grief, Utah had no business winning that game last year. Nevertheless, win they did.

I think Heaps is and will be better than anything Utah currently has on depth chart a QB.

Quezada? Right now...Quezada is certainly a better bet. Going forward, I think Utah has more "potential" (I know, I know...) at RB. Next season, BYU gets the nod. After that, not so sure.

Hoffman is a nice looking receiver. However, I think Utah's going to surprise at receiver over the next couple of years. I don't think this is a Hands-down win for BYU.

I also don't think Fuga is clearly better than the guys on Utah's D line. Kaveinga is an unkown. Van Noy would be a great upgrade for Utah.

Also, not sure how Riley Nelson makes that list. At what position? I'm not pining for him at QB and Utah is thin and inexperienced at QB right now. Maybe if you move him and his athleticism to another position, but then he's unproven.
