I got mine. It even had a picture of Tom. I get my news from CUF and CB exclusively, except for other news I get from friends and family.Originally posted by pellegrino View PostI feel left out. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

IMO it is much less about trying to restrict somebodys access and more about trying to understand how better BYU can disseminate the information. For example, are fans really utilizing Twitter? If so, BYU sports does a poor job of using that medium, though reporters like Jay Drew do a good job. I'm sure they also would like to know what role fan sites (like this one and CougarFan) play in getting their BYU fix(es).Originally posted by creekster View PostYes, that was my thought. I was surprised at how shallow the questionnaire was though. A few more questions, like understanding how much time a week they use each of those sites, or what other mediums (TV/Newspaper, etc) they use would seem relevant as well. I would have thought that the usage of smartphones would be a relevant question as well in trying to understand what their market is for developing BYU sports related apps & the level of content they would need to devote to that. But really, what do I know. It's not like I do that type of stuff for a living...
