Las Vegas Bowl doesnt want the Utes

Off topic but anyone hear attend the WAC championship against Air Force back in the 90's? I dressed for what I thought should be Vegas weather and froze my giblets off.

Vegas winters are strange. The days are really quite nice, unless its windy (and December isn't usually part of the windy season). But as soon as the sun goes down, you might as well be in Utah.

I'll just sit on my couch and watch the U play. The only bright side of this is that Utah will most likely get it's 10th consecutive bowl win.

so true!! Some a hole was marching around in full Ute uniform at the UW game this year hooting at BYU fans. I guess he wasn't getting enough attention at his own venue.

Las Vegas Bowl executive director Tina Kunzer-Murphy, who said her committee made a unanimous decision to invite the Utes on Wednesday, declined to comment on a possible opponent other than to say, “We eliminated some other entities and felt we had a better shot with representatives by accepting Utah first. We feel like we can have a great matchup between two Top 25 teams.”

Portland and I go way back. He's been on my sh-t list since ever since he used to hate on Majerus, and he knows it. I just wish there was a way to give him blue stars here. I'd do it practically every time. We had a nick name for him on Utefans. Nattering Nabob of Negativism.

Really, I think all Ute fans should knock off the defeatist crap. Why are we going to the Pac 12? Why not just play Ohio types all the time? We strive for the stars, we live on the edge, that's why. Some of us are not wuses and losers like Portland Ute. This is Boise on a neutral field, for pete's sake, not Alabama at the SUG.

In reality, I think the Utes have as much of a chance of winning this game as they do of getting blown out. Youth = inconsistency, and that's what we've seen this year.

For a bowl game you would hope that they would be pumped and ready. Of course, you'd think they would've been pumped and ready for the BYU game as well, and, based on their first half performance, they obviously weren't.

You just don't know which team will show up, but I believe we do have enough talent to win if they focus.

I think we can agree that if BSU were to lose to Utah in Vegas, it would only be because BSU didn't want to be there.
