The Big 12 won't. They went from 8 conference games to 9. Several teams are looking to shed a Non-Conference game. That is why Iowa St bought out of their return game in 2011.Originally posted by Surfah View PostThere are a lot of schools with holes in their schedule for next year, no? What is the B-10 doing? They have 9 games right now. What did they decide with expansion?Originally posted by Surfah View PostYep. They'll play each team in their division then 3 against the other division. One of those is a guaranteed game, mostly to preserve rivalries like Michigan-OSU and Illinois-Northwestern.Originally posted by Jarid in Cedar View PostWhat is the B-10 doing? So 8 conference games. 11 teams should be looking for another game, but I bet that the MAC fills most of them and they will be looking for a 1 and done home game.Originally posted by Surfah View PostThey'll play each team in their division then 3 against the other division. SU, sadly dabrockster is right. What with the departure of byu and, to a lesser extent, utah and fresno/nevada unable to join next year the MWC is done. And the schools left are also done. Not only as football programs but as institutions of higher learning. DONE, FINISHED, F-U-#-K-E-D. Most just don't know it yet.
With an insurmountable two, COUNT THEM DAMMIT TWO, games to fill next year Wyoming, ever at the forefront, has done the prudent thing and begun dismantling its stadium. I'm sure the others will follow suit forthwith. On the bright side whatever cash is raised through the sale of scrap metal will be distributed to the hard working taxpayers of Wyoming. Because that's how we roll in the 307.

It's a shame you're not a BYU fan, you've got our schtick down pat. We could use a team player like you to toe the party line.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostI don't care. I'm speaking to you from the Pac 12. We don't have your problems. I'm just trying to help. You all would be better off if you questioned the representations made by BYU. But go ahead and bite the hand that feeds you. It is true that weak programs can schedule all the road games they want against top shelf BCS programs. It's always been that way.
