I wouldn't. I would be livid that the ref just screwed my team at a critcal point. There are critical points in every game. Some are early and some are late. That was a critical play. For anyone who doesn't admit that potentially changed the outcome of the game is kidding themselves.

You still don't get it. Nobody is saying that it didn't have an effect on the outcome of the game.

I'm not wrong. The call did not necessarily affect the outcome of the game, as you explicitly asserted that it did. I suggest you muster up your extensive football knowledge and figure that out.

We switch positions. Wyoming dominates us for 3 quarters, without us getting positive yardage until midway through the third quarter. We don't put together any sort of a drive until the end of the game and it gets cut short by a missed PI. We all whine about that losing the game for us, despite the fact that they outgained us by over 100 yards with 3x the first downs. You wouldn't chew on anyone about whining about a missed call?

Of course it did. But who cares. We all agree it probably should have been called. What's to argue? Yes, it potentially changed the game. Yes, had it been called and Wyoming had won, BYU fans would have been pissed. Who cares.

EDIT: It looks like you did and changed it. Here's the point...you point out (repeatedly) how lucky we are to get a call from the refs. Most of us don't care because really, we won the game through a hundred other plays. Sure, if roles were reversed, I might be bugged a little, but not that much, because as I said, we lost the game a hundred other ways. So I'm not really sure of your point here. I'm also not really sure why you keep belaboring it, given that you allegedly don't really care. I know...calling a spade a spade. Over and over again.

As I've already said, it impacted the outcome as much as any other play. Maybe it changed the outcome, maybe it didn't, but there's no reason to just assume, as you do, that it did. You said that BYU "needed" that call to win. That's an indefensible position, and it's a shame that this even needs to be discussed.

wait, what is this argument over? Yes it was a PI, yes it was missed. And you can not argue that if it is called that the dynamics of the game are completely changed and it puts BYU in a bad spot. It isn't the reason we won the game.

With that, we win! The offense is not good. They won't be good this season and it is going to take an infusion of play makers to make them good next year. Hopefully they are already in the system (Apo, phillips. Hoffman shows signs) I love Falslevs Moxie when he is on the field. The defense is above average and we have some underclassmen that I love watching.

Kudos to the coaching staff for not yanking Heaps after the first half and letting him ride it out. All of the OC's around me would have pulled him for sure. That may have been the worst pass I have seen.
