          I'm happy for Shaky, who by making a narrow correction of some radio-idiot's rant gives great comfort to a fanbase weary of having their past haunt them, thereby becoming a most favored, ever. Shaky's a great kid who deserves everything good that happens to him, but that was too easy.

          But if it contributes to a fullfilment of Uchdorf's talk, and detoxifies the rivalry some, then good.

              And the drama continues:
              SDSU boosters Leon Parma, Bob Payne and Jack Goodall sent the letter to BYU President Cecil Samuelson via express mail on Monday. In it, they also ask him to “declare the game forfeited” to SDSU if he finds evidence of gross negligence or foul play committed by the BYU alumni who were working for the Mountain West Conference video replay booth that day.

                              Exactly my thoughts. Pres Samuelson agrees as long as SDSU “declares all games over the past 10 year forfeited” due to the obvious evidence of gross negligence and fraud committed by the SDSU Athletic Department.

                                As a thought exercise, if someone got an attack of conscience and stepped forward to acknowledge wrong doing, should BYU voluntarily forfeit the game? Would that be the right thing to do? Does it matter if someone did something dishonest?
