I was impressed by BYU's defense. They have clearly played with some spark since Hill was fired.
"The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."
"They talk about the economy this year. Hey, my hairline is in recession, my waistline is in inflation. Altogether, I'm in a depression."
"I like to bike. I could beat Lance Armstrong, only because he couldn't pass me if he was behind me."
You are incorrect, as Hill was but a scapegoat. He said so himself.
I wouldn't be the first times my eyes were fooled.

Optimism on defense yes. Offense no. I know tcu is great but man that was awful.
This is true; yet our offense in the previous two years did only a little better. Seven points apiece with NFL quarterbacks, receivers, tight ends, linemen, and running backs. Three with what we have now.
man, that last score is going to eat at me. I know we could have stopped them, but TCU was up 24-3 with four minutes left and went for it on 4th and three. That just shows a complete lack of class. Any respect I had for Patterson and TCU just went down the drain.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.
