Which is why it is a non brainer for them. They recoup the travel costs with the BCS windfall. I fail to see the advantage for the rest of the conference, esp the B-Ball only schools.

I think the biggest advantage would be to play a game in Texas every year. It would give the Big East teams more leverage in recruiting there.

I can't imagine Conference USA would take their non-football sports. The WAC would but what a mess for TCU. Big East in football to the east, WAC other sports in the west? Crazy times we are living in.

I feel very confident in saying that the long-term strategy is to go to 12 teams and break away from the non-FBS schools. Memphis and UCF are not too far behind 'Nova and TCU, IMO.
