So winning the Aloha bowl is more impressive than losing the Vegas bowl.

        This is what confuses me.

BYU's big ticket item is the Church angle. Manti was not interested in that.

SC's big ticket item was the "contending for a title every year" angle. Manti was not interested in that.

I guess Manti really enjoyed the "our team is horrible, please help us get back to respectability" angle.

        Who knew?

At least Manti will get to play in the Coliseum and see what it could have been like for him....

stfu! SC landed its fair share of 4 and 5 stars.

I hope Manti loses his testimony!

SC just can't compete with the siren song of the midwest. Get used to it. Manti probably just didn't want to have his state tax refund hijacked by Arnold.

The joke is on Manti. Mass is sooooo boring and now he will have to go before every home game! lol!

I can see that like a lot of great writers (including particularly comedians) pain brings 3D's artistry to a new level.

Any college worth its salt would make that happen. ND is a great academic college so I expect it.

Seriously, this makes all the sense in the world. It's a masterful compromise between mom and dad. Dad wants him to go out and experience the world, at a world class institution with a storied tradition, whatever the risks. Apparently mom wants a baby sitter. Catholic universities are famous for providing the baby sitting feature.

Manti is in for a huge shock his first full weekend in South Bend. It will be Friday night and he won't be able to find a good Young Adult dance at any of the stake centers nearby. He will have to go back to his dorm because there just aren't a lot of Mormons at Notre Dame. Also, does Notre Dame have a good LDS Institute program? Likely no.
