So there's a precedent. I'll bet we've already knocked out Nevada, Idaho, New Mexico, and Wyoming in previous years as well.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

There is definitely precedent but the more important point here is that there is no reason to believe that playing all FBS teams in a state would be "fun."Originally posted by falafel View PostSo there's a precedent. First year QB, yikes this is going to be a horrific year.Originally posted by YOhio View PostBYU's 2016 schedule:

Southern Miss

Utah, UCLA, UofA, WVU, Sparty, will all probably have their same coaches and be pretty good teams.
Who knows about Boise and Cincy buy those are away and after we play murderers row (granted that this is the chronological order).
Aren't their 2 neutral site games and 2 unscheduled games?
I think BYU is going to have to do a lot of neutral site games as well as always playing 2 horrific teams at home if they want to schedule the equivalent of a P5 schedule.

Oxford would be a great place to attend a game. Just adopt MG's WOW policy and enjoy The Grove.Originally posted by falafel View PostAny chance we can get Ole Miss or Jackson State on the home schedule? It might be fun to have each year focus on challenging all the FBS schools in a particular state.

yes. they were very hospitable. one of the best tailgates ive ever experienced. in fact, possibly the best. Ohio State probably wins the sheer volume of people award but Ole Miss was an experience.Originally posted by Omaha 680 View PostIsn't that the place where the most "BYU Fans drink for free" pics were snapped?Fitter. Funny thing is that people weren't allowed to drive their vehicles onto the grass so it actually wasn't a "tailgate." It was more of an outdoor party under blue and red canopies.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View Postyes. they were very hospitable. one of the best tailgates ive ever experienced. in fact, possibly the best. Robinson does a hatchet job on the honor code.
Same old question: Can BYU football and the Honor Code coexist?

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

I don't know if this is the proper thread, but I will of course be happy to chime in on the matter.Originally posted by Topper View PostRobinson does a hatchet job on the honor code.

Robinson says something like, BYU represents the church and the Honor Code is the standard of that church.
Really?? I am actually OK if BYU wants to have strict rules as a way to weed people out and control those who get in. However, I know a lot of good LDS folks who do not live or subscribe to the rules (Honor Code) that BYU flaunts.
How many people do you think see a restriction on beards and long hair and immediately think, wow, BYU subscribes to higher moral standard than everyone else?

Doesn't really matter how many, because the ones that do are the ones that make the rules.Originally posted by byu71 View PostHow many people do you think see a restriction on beards and long hair and immediately think, wow, BYU subscribes to higher moral standard than everyone else?Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

I'd like the Honor Code to take the Joseph Smith approach: “I teach them correct principles, and they govern themselves.”Originally posted by byu71 View PostI don't know if this is the proper thread, but I will of course be happy to chime in on the matter.
