Not as long as they have ESPN bankrolling games like Virginia Tech, Georgia and Michigan State. Even before BYU, scheduling was the least of Boise's concerns:

Or an easy win vs a decent name.

The point is that going forward they would, but for pre-existing contracts they keep their own deal. This would have been negotiated with the B12.

Boise wins by getting a BCS school that it thinks it can beat in an OOC game to make up for a lousy MWC schedule.

Plus it is a deal that either side can by out for a reasonable sum. Makes sense to me.
        PLesa excuse the tpyos.

You are kidding, right? Boise never has a relevant game after September.

So, if BYU keeps these games after joining the Big 12, it gets to keep all of the money for itself, correct?
            Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I think it's pretty clear that we're talking about their non-conference schedule here. You know, the games Boise has scheduling freedom over.

I have no idea. But it could easily be the case. I would guess that the admission criteria to the b12 are subject to individual negotiation. Just like Utah wisely negotiated to give up years of revenue to join the Pac.

                  Boise played Toledo last week.

The schedule has been released for all 12 games. All but two of the 12 will be played October. That is good for BSU.

Yeah, an 8-win MAC team from last year that the week before took Ohio State to the wire. Not really sure what point you're trying to make here. I see BSU's future non-conference schedule and I see a clear uptick from what they've scheduled in the past.

On second thought, BSU's stadium will be expanded to ~50K for most of these games. The dollar amount being tossed about probably isn't much more than travel expenses.

Yeah. Like their bowl game last year.

You missed the Nevada game last year? And all those bowl wins?

That's low, Jeff. Utah didn't want to be there.
