Non-Conference Scheduling rumors

I hate this because I think everyone should boycott scheduling ND. I hate those guys.

The recent increased backlash against anyone scheduling Notre Dame may have provided the juice BYU needed to get this game scheduled.

I wanted all schools to boycott ND just like most everyone else, but then in this season I decided that that was not the best way to live life and treat our fellow men. I am happy BYU feels the same and is reaching out with an olive branch. My religion is kindness.

While I'm not a fan of Notre Dame (mostly because of the way they treated BYU), I care infinitely more about BYU and this is a good thing for BYU.

Notre Dame has 6 home games next year. BYU likely will have 7. Everything about this arrangement suggests that it should have been in South Bend in '26 and Provo in '27-- possibly even with a return trip to South Bend after that, given the recent pattern.

Yes, and BYU lost its one P4 non-conference game for next year when Cal canceled recently. To meet the Big 12 rule, they needed to add another for next year but there were no P4 schools with openings. Well done, Brian.

The great thing about NIL is that some of these guys can make more money by staying. A guy like Glasker risks not making a roster and making squat or being guaranteed 6-7 figures.

I don't hate the H-H series with SMU, especially now that it will be an ACC team. But i do not like that the road game is next year. As the schedul currently stands that is 2 nonconference road games.
