I am aware of the rumor, but it hadn't been substantiated by any other outlet."The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."
"They talk about the economy this year. Hey, my hairline is in recession, my waistline is in inflation. Altogether, I'm in a depression."
"I like to bike. I could beat Lance Armstrong, only because he couldn't pass me if he was behind me."

So on August 17th they were close to an agreement, according to Tulsa, but nothing since. Sounds like a job for Scratch (and I'm not being SJS ot KCC facetious). I'd be interested to see if there are any legs to this.Originally posted by Maximus View Post

I've found that rumors about college football eminating only from one locality and news source are bunk, particularly if that locality wants so badly for the rumors to be true. No need to waste any more time on this.Originally posted by chrisrenrut View PostSo on August 17th they were close to an agreement, according to Tulsa, but nothing since. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I really hope Utah doesn't play Tulsa. I thought Hill was trying to get more home games & and an easier game OOC instead of BYU for PAC-12 play. Tulsa is usually a top C-USA team, not on par of BYU but not too far off. Not liking the fact we're having a H-H with Tulsa instead of BYU if that ever does have any merit to that rumor.
I'd rather have a one and done/two for one with a crappier C-USA team like UAB or Rice.Last edited by UtahJazzFan88; 11-01-2012, 11:50 PM.

At first glance it looks like a one and done with the Wolverines. Greg McMurphy:
Michigan adds games w/BYU (2015), Hawaii, Ball State, Miami (OH) in 2016 & home/home w/Arkansas in 2018 & 2019

Oh look! It's the familiar 1 and done, then a 1:1.Originally posted by kccougar View PostFuture game(s) to be added at a later date.
That said, I'm just fine with a 2:1 with Michigan.Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

Yeah, but can you really compare that? Utah had a big scheduling assist from the PAC-12. I doubt that Utah gets a 1:1 with Michigan without the PAC-12/B1G deal. Not that it really matters... At least we still have our a 1:1 with MTSU!!!Originally posted by The_Douger View PostAnother one and done. When Utah's playing the same team home and home.
We're a big deal! I think we've shown we can get good games against about anyone if we do one and done. I hope some of them eventually come play here.
