"We" had very high hopes for 2012? Actually the preseason expectations seemed to be pretty modest for this season.

Getting back on topic, I think that scheduling Ohio State in 2013 is a mistake. I think scheduling Ohio State later than 2013 is a good idea.Originally posted by Maximus View PostSodo you think the coaches are performing well?

Yes because he will miraculously have a medical condition (Postebowitis) that flares up just as Braxton Miller declares early.Originally posted by Babs View PostBecause Urban will have retired by then?

I thought we'd be 9-3.
I am disappointed in not beating Boise and Utah after watching the games, because I don't think either of them is that good this year. Subsequently, I don't think we're that good either.
I'm not that disappointed about the OSU game. At this point I just expect Bronco's level of preparation and practice to not be sufficient for these types of teams. That's how I feel about this game as well.
I'd love ot be wrong. Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

Not BYU scheduling news, but it is Independent scheduling news..
Here is Idaho's first attempt at an independent schedule. What do you guys think? I am actually shocked that some teams will actually go to Moscow to play a game.
Aug. 31 North Texas Sun Belt Denton, Texas
Sept. 7 Wyoming Mountain West Laramie, Wyo.
Sept. 14 Northern Illinois Mid-American Moscow, Idaho
Sept. 21 Washington State Pac-12 Pullman, Wash.
Sept. 28 Temple Big East Moscow, Idaho
Oct. 5 Fresno State Mountain West Moscow, Idaho
Oct. 12 Arkansas State Sun Belt Jonesboro, Ark.
Oct. 26 Mississippi SEC Oxford, Miss
Nov. 2 New Mexico State Independent Moscow, Idaho
Nov. 9 Old Dominion Colonial Moscow, Idaho
Nov. 23 BCS opponent TBA
Nov. 30 New Mexico State Independent Las Cruces, N.M.
I think it is pretty impressive that a school like Idaho could rustle up a schedule without major resources like BYU. They got a big east school to sign a H/H with them. That shocks me. I also like the H/H with New Mexico State.... in the same season.

LOL. An overrated ND (who just "joined" the ACC) about to get beaten on by OU is your argument?Originally posted by Indy Coug View Post

Ohio State has locked in another marquee opponent for the distant future and is closing in on filling the void left by the cancellation of next year's game against Vanderbilt. As for next year, San Diego State has emerged as the most likely replacement for Vanderbilt.http://buckeyextra.dispatch.com/cont...-for20-21.htmlOne school rumored to have been a consideration to fill the void left by Vanderbilt was Brigham Young University.
