Given that Bear spent about the minimum amount of time you could with a team before transferring, thread title seems fitting.
So Stanford lost to Hawaii on August 23rd 23-20 and then had a bye week this past week.
Maybe Hawaii is good?
(Checks Box Score... sees Hawaii loses to Arizona 40-6)
Looking at the Stanford / Hawaii game, box score would indicate Stanford's passing offense is not that great. 15-30 for 109 yards (with 39 coming on one play). They did run the ball for almost 200 yards, but still not overly impressive.
I do think it'll be a much better test for Bear than last week. I think we should be able to run the ball – maybe not 450 yards at 10 yards a carry like last week – but I do think LJ will see a similar yardage total on Saturday. And ultimately, I don't think the Stanford offense will be able to get into a rhythm against our defense, so no matter what happens offensively for us, we should be in a good spot.
I think there are a lot of mistakes we'll need to clean up following this game – but will still be a game that isn't in doubt in the second half.
