Not their best game, but they dug it out. Lots of credit to Jake on that last drive. Gamer stuff there.

I had no faith in a 1 minute offense from this team

What a night! Loved the Lassiter run after catch (and some missed tackles).

                On that last drive, Jake:

-hit that 4th and 8 pass to stay alive

—had the long scramble to cover enough yards to get in position for the TD

-found Lassiter for the game winner.

I know this wasn’t his best game overall, but that was a clutch final drive with all sorts of weight on his shoulders.

Very true. I was very displeased when he turned inside instead of running OB but he then picked up 20 critical yards to set up the final play. I'm glad he's playing and not me. A drive for the ages.

Yep. Final drive was good Jake. Most of the game was bad Jake. But good Jake was just good enough. The step up into the collapsing pocket to drop the dime to Lassiter was the stuff of legends.

Ha, same. I went from “nice run to the sideline” to “what’s he doing?” to “he just covered a third of the field” over the course of that one.
