Dirk from Auburn: Do you really think the Duckies can keep up with an SEC team in the national championship game. This is big boy football and the SEC is the big boys.
Ted Miller: Poor ole Duckies. I just hope they get out of Glendale alive!
If I may humbly speak for Oregon and the Pac-10, we are just grateful that the SEC has allowed the conference to step on the field -- for one shining moment! -- with the big boys.
SEC teams are so big. So absolutely huge. Gosh, we're all really impressed over here, I can tell you that. Forgive us, for this, our dreadful toadying and barefaced flattery. But you are so strong and, well, just so super. Fantastic. Amen.

Championship game uniforms unveiled tomorrow! Think neon.
That was a let down. After some wild rumors flying from a helmet that looked like a crystal football to black with neon green, there is basically no change. An undershirt with the players number on it, ehh.
Auburn is also rumored to be debuting new Under Armour cleats, though this article says that they were debuted in the SEC title game.

I agree that is a big letdown. I really liked the idea of a the crystal football idea for the helmets.

Oregon and Florida don't get anything new; Boise gets a lighter shade of blue and the same helmet they wore against VT; and TCU gets royally effed. No purple? Really?

DDD regardless of outcome of the game I may not be able to respond to all your comments about the game directly as they happen. I apologize in advance.
I think it is a close game. I struggle to see a way that the Oregon D can reign in Newton. If they can force an average game like he played against Clemson or Mississippi State then I really like the Ducks chances. I'm not sure if they can do that though. They struggled with Pryor last year and Newton is much better than Pryor.
I think Oregon is going to be able to score 30, so the D needs to hold Newton to 29.
Unlike you and your banners mean everything attitude, I've enjoyed every week of this season and as long as the Ducks don't get dominated I can enjoy the championship game every bit as much as I enjoyed the Rose Bowl last year. (Which was immensely in case you were wondering.)

This doesn't sound like your previous attitude all season long. You sound very submissive. Tail between your legs sort of thing. Where's the bravado?
