Lassiter is a great route runner and had some clutch plays, but I don't think that catcher's mitt was a compliment.

Just saw that Tanuvasa from Utah entered the transfer portal with two years of eligibility remaining. I think we'll get outbid for his services, but if there was ever at time to throw a bad of money at a guy, I think this would be it.

Ok, I'll go ahead and post this as well. I didn't want to come off as too negative last night, so I was just going to let it go. I also looked up Tight Ends, because I remember Hill dropping quite a few as well. They average a higher completion, ~67%, a factor of the types of targets they get. Hill is 12 of 27 for 44.4%. Underutilization of TE's has been a big fan complaint in recent years. With those numbers, it shouldn't be this year.

Now I did scratch my head at the comparison of Darius Lassiter to having catcher mitts for hands. I seem to remember him dropping more than he should. So I looked it up. He has 43 catches to 89 targets this year. That puts him at 48.3%, below an average of ~60% NCAA-wide. Now don't get me wrong, I love Darius and I love the passion he plays with. But I do think his draft stock drops because of the passes dropped. Some of those drops are obviously on Jake. I loved when Darius would stare back at Jake when he thought it was a bad pass. Also, being the most targeted BYU receiver this year speaks to his ability to get open.

On the other hand, Chase is 50 of 70 putting him at 69.4%. He's a special receiver at BYU, and we've had some greats.

Keelan Marion is 23 for 38 putting him at 60.5%. I think we get him for one more year as well?

I do feel like WR is a recurring strength for BYU.

Perhaps Harmon is pointing out that catchers mitts are not ideal for catching a football.

Well let's see...not good overall but it does include one of BYU's best ever in 96.

11 Armed Forces -- Tulsa W
21 Independence -- Alabama-Birmingham L

in Texas overall it's more wins than losses. The two bowl wins above, a couple of wins over SMU and TCU over the years, the win over Oklahoma..loss to Baylor and also one or two losses to TCU. Didn't go to the Taysom Hill game at Texas. Would have been fun.

I saw this on another website. It’s a recap of some of the “so close, but so far” BYU football experience over the last few decades and culminates with a recap of the end of this season. I have no idea who this guy is, but he does a decent job.
