I wonder if the intensity of the game will subside a bit once the game is a conference game again. During independence I feel like both sides put a little more importance on the game. BYU because they had no conference race and resented the "we don't need BYU anymore" attitude of some Utes, and Utah because they wanted to show how much better of a program they were after the move to the PAC12.Originally posted by Commando View Post

I know there are legal arrangements that prevented this, but it would have been so much better if the PAC-leftovers (co, ut, az, az st, Stanford, cal, osu, wsu) had joined with the western part of the big xii (byu, tcu, Baylor, Houston). Having arizona - West Virginia, or ucf-Utah are such unwieldy conference matchups.Comment
