I said yes, only in the sense they apparently agreed to one thing while making plans (or at least getting into position) to do another thing.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I would say no and I strongly feel that way. I feel as though Nevada and Fresno were making their situation for their athletic programs better. Their is no debate on which conference is better. The WAC minus BYU football is still much worse than the Mtn. West in all sports. When all is said and done, Nevada and Fresno need to look out for themselves and they did. At the end of the day they improved their situation."Take it to the Bank"

No one disputes they were looking out for themselves. Remember, Bernie Madoff was only looking out for himself. The question was whether, like Bernie, they did so unethically.Originally posted by Hot Lunch View PostI would say no and I strongly feel that way. I voted yes. But then again most college football programs across the country are unethical. It does look like they played the two conferences against each other with insider information. CSU apparently broke this right? Where did they get there info? I'm guessing it came from one of the WAC schools.

Acting unethically is not the same as acting in one's best self-interest. Clearly what Fresno and Nevada did was the best thing for their teams. That doesn't make it ethical.Originally posted by Hot Lunch View PostI would say no and I strongly feel that way. I just don't understand how it was unethical? Did they do something illegal like Madoff? When that meeting took place last Friday between the members of the WAC, did they have an invite? I don't think they did or they would have never agreed to anything.Originally posted by creekster View PostNo one disputes they were looking out for themselves. when you have an agreement and you make that agreement knowing that you are going to break it as soon as the ink is dry you are acting in your self interest but you are also unethical.Dyslexics are teople poo...
