I was trying not to confuse you, because I know how ugly things get when that occurs. But it appears I failed. Just promise me that this time you won't go running out into the streets of Dayton asking people to help you find one of those birds.Originally posted by YOhio View PostVery funny, LA. Neither did LaVell (before coaching) or President Monson. Yet somehow they let me go on one, therefore I don't give being an "RM" much clout anymore. Granted it is something to be proud of doing, but shouldn't be treated as the tell-all of somebody's character as it often is.Originally posted by wally View PostLet's also not forget that Bronco didn't serve a mission either, and that was back when it was a commandment.

Doggone it PolyCougar. When I jumped on the coat tails of SU and LA to try my luck at trolling, I didn't want to snag a well-reasoned and genuine guy like you. I was hoping for someone like junkie.Originally posted by PolyCougar View PostNeither did LaVell (before coaching) or President Monson. BTW, are you keeping up with Tri Nations at all? Or do you just follow Tonga? Nobody wants to talk rugby on here it seems.

You're going to have to try a lot harder than that to troll CJ. What's rugby?Originally posted by wally View PostDoggone it PolyCougar. Nelson would make a very good safety or WR, but I'm really hoping that he ends up being BYU's starting QB. I highly doubt that will happen and I do think your scenario where he ends up at another position and Lark is 2nd string is best for BYU.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostHeaps will start, Lark will be 2nd string, Munns will go Chad Manis and become a D-end, and Nelson will switch to WR or Safety. As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

Just in case anyone new to the board doesn't know this, I should mention that YOhio and I always give each other a (good-natured) hard time. I always get the better of him, of course.Last edited by LA Ute; 08-12-2010, 03:20 PM.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

I think 3 deep is ideal but most guys switch positions or transfer when they find out they are 3rd string which leaves you with a walk-on at that spot.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostDon't they try and at least go 3 deep at QB?
Is there really Munns to DE talk? How would he fare there?
You may keep Munns or Nelson there for this season and the other switches positions. I actually think Munns ends up transferring either to Washington St. or possibly Snow. He has looked pretty bad since returning from his mission. However at 6'6 245 he may have a future at another position.*Banned*

Given the recent trail of players, I know that SUU's coaches are watching BYU's QB situation with great interest.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostI think 3 deep is ideal but most guys switch positions or transfer when they find out they are 3rd string which leaves you with a walk-on at that spot.

You know, the damn learning curve on this board is so steep. I gotta learn everybodies hot buttons, find out who my allies are, choose a luchadore mask that suits me best. Where does a guy find the time?

I think Red Sox is currently looking for some allies right now after his performance in the Scott Norberg thread.Originally posted by wally View PostYou know, the damn learning curve on this board is so steep. I usually follow the 3N but haven't had much time this year. I keep petitioning Comcast to get the Fox international sports channel but it hasn't happened yet in SLC. I have to get my younger brother to videotape games off his satellite.Originally posted by wally View PostBTW, are you keeping up with Tri Nations at all? Or do you just follow Tonga? Ha, still diggin your style though man. I'm probably the worst at trolling their could be. But yeah man, I really only follow Tonga and some of my favorite players. There's a Tongan kid, that's hard core LDS that I've been keeping my eye on, that's playing in Australia... A 6'5" 250 pound Center with a $4.2 million dollar contract, and he's only 21. I want him to quit saying he'll play for Tonga and actually do it. Isreal Folau is his name, granted he just switched to Aussie rules so... eh. But I'm in Hostiles boat, it'd be a lot easier to follow any of this if Comcast'd give us some rugby.Originally posted by wally View PostDoggone it PolyCougar. But I mostly hang with the local Rugby scene in Utah, which can be a who's who of great local College players in attendance. From the Kemoeatu's and Fahu Tahi, to Reno Mahe sporting an awesome new beard. Granted going is like putting your life on the line lately. At the Tongan tournament in Murray two weeks ago, some gang bangers came out guns a blazing in the parking lot, and in Provo last weekend (hosted by my boys the "Steelers") the championship game was forfeited after both sidelines and fans rushed the field in a brawl that, from my point of view, looked like a scene straight out of Braveheart. The police just watched from the sidelines and waited for it all to cool down, which I don't blame them at all.Last edited by PolyCougar; 08-12-2010, 10:23 PM.
