The funny thing is the outcome of this really won't stress me out one way or another. I obviously want us to win, but who knows where this team's head space is.

I'm not sure BYU gets to another bowl game for a couple of years, so I guess we should enjoy it. But who knows, maybe the transfer portal and Hill's scheme will suprise me.

We may not be very good, but I don't think SMU is necessarily better. According to Sagarin the teams are rated abour exactly the same. So if you bet on it, the 7 points makes it a bargain for BYU. But who knows. Bowl games, especially the earlier ones in the bowl season are not very predictable.
