Hmmm, wrong again!!!! As usual!!!!!! I know a guy that is from Bakersfield. Totally cool guy. Just last week, he gave me a call and wanted to see how I was doing. I think most people would agree that this guy was cool (he wears skinny jeans and Ed Hardy t-shirts) and yet he was basically inviting me into his clique.
On top of that, I have it on good authority that it was USC that initiated the 'lets bring Utah to the PAC-12' discussion with the other schools. They totally want Utah in their clique as well.
Let it be known, YOhio failed again in his 'diss' of UteStar! Can I have a 'boo yah' from the crowd?'

I doubt this very much. None of the PAC schools want to give up their stranglehold on skiing and women's gymnastics.Originally posted by UteStar View PostOn top of that, I have it on good authority that it was USC that initiated the 'lets bring Utah to the PAC-12' discussion with the other schools. BTW, has there been any discussion on scheduling for those 2 sports? I bet Arizona State is going to be pissed if it can't ski against UCLA every year, as has traditionally been the custom.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Uh, oh. I didn't realize you hadn't yet caught on to the joke. You remember how in the movies the school jock will ask a real huge and ugly fat girl to the dance, only to stand her up on the big night? That situation is pretty much exactly comparable to USC's invitation to Utah. USC is the handsome jock and Utah is the huge and ugly fat girl. The only difference is that USC's mom (Larry Scott) is making USC take UTah to the dance. Now their friends will make fun of them and they're quite embarrassed.Originally posted by UteStar View PostHmmm, wrong again!!!! As usual!!!!!! I know a guy that is from Bakersfield. Well, another difference is that Utah could beat up USC for being disrespectful. That never happened in the movies, although, it should have.Originally posted by YOhio View PostUh, oh. USC is just not capable of defending itself on the field right now. They are kind of like a rich man's BYU.

I hate those movies.
I have seen USC in all of their sweaters...I don't buy any analogy where Larry Scott is the mom. Doesn't compute.
With that said, your post gave me a lot to think about. Maybe I will need to rethink why Utah was added to the PAC-10.

You must have never seen "She's All That" starring Freddie Prinze, Jr. It was an amazing story that teaches lessons about inner beauty and integrity without being preachy, IMO.Originally posted by UteStar View PostI hate those movies.

Being the ugly fat girl that gets asked to the dance by the handsome jock is better than being the uglier, fatter girl who doesn't get asked by anyone to the dance, so she ends up planning her own dance and makes a deal with the AV geeks to televise her dance in order to prove to everyone that she actually did go to a dance rather than stay home.Originally posted by YOhio View PostUh, oh. Obviously, I have seen it. I can't think of one Freddie Prinze movie that I have missed. His work in 'Head over Heels' was subtle yet absolutely spot on. He is a talent that will be appreciated more as time goes on...like a fine wine.
