This is an interesting quote from Bill Byrne...
Why didn't the Aggies follow through and execute their plan?Is the Longhorn Network that much of a game changer? Why not just crank up the Aggie Network?
"When we built the 12th Man Productions facilities, our plan was all along to eventually put together an Aggie Network," Byrne wrote a year ago. "We are better positioned than any other conference school to do it.""If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.
"I honestly believe saying someone is a smart lawyer is damning with faint praise. The smartest people become engineers and scientists." -SU.
"Yet I still see wisdom in that which Uncle Ted posts." -creek.

Statement from aTm's President R. Bowen Loftin:
"We are certainly pleased with the action taken last night by the presidents and chancellors of the Southeastern Conference to unanimously accept Texas A&M as the league's 13th member. However, this acceptance is conditional, and we are disappointed in the threats made by one of the Big 12 member institutions to coerce Texas A&M into staying in Big 12 Conference. These actions go against the commitment that was made by this university and the Big 12 on Sept. 2. We are working diligently to resolve any and all issues as outlined by the SEC.""If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

This is why I've been calling aTm pansies (I'd use another word but I know it confuses '71). Get your own network. Wait, what? ESPN won't give you $300mm? Maybe you ought to ask yourselves why not before you try to run out of the sandbox you want to piddle in.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostThis is an interesting quote from Bill Byrne...

Also, if I'm Baylor (or anybody else) of course I don't sign a waiver. "Hey, guys, we want to leave you all and you'll potentially be screwed, so see ya! But can you sign our permission slip first?"Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

Okay, first of all, wtf are you doing in tax law? The entire sum total of tax law that non tax lawyers (read: people with a personality more interesting than dirt) need to know is the phone number of a tax lawyer. It is helpful if you have an iPhone with some games on it for when you need to use the number, though.Originally posted by Babs View PostFriggin tax law. What happened? WHAT HAPPENED??
Second, why do you think we'd know in this thread? Nobody is making any sense anymore.Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.
