    Who are these journalists who keep wanting to go back to Baylor?

    If there is anything to be learned form any of this, there are no real insiders among the journalists covering the Big-12 beat. I expect a lot will continue to say that expansion will go East, not West, but I think most of them are just projecting their own biases. Nobody knows crap.

                    No way any team from the West gets added unless BYU is one of them. I think long term, CSU is probably more attractive than Boise. Cincinnati is sitting pretty purely based on geography. Memphis is not the answer, unless FedEx money buys them in. Houston? Uconn? A directional school from Florida? Outside of that, no one is worth a damn.

                                                            So what happens if BYU is not selected as one of the candidates? The backlash would be epic. Persecution complex would double.
