    Lot's of things are taken out of context. The thing I get out of the article is that BYU wants a conference.

        Hilarious.

        I know this has been said before, but after this is all over I wouldn't be surprised to see a whole slew of academic studies about the group dynamics exhibited during the realignment saga. It has been fascinating.

            The Utah sports print media is a joke. How pathetic that they are referencing Internet message board posters as influential.

            What a bizarre season this has been. BYU saying that the are excited about independence while simultaneously saying that they would be fools to not seek out conference affiliation. Meanwhile, there is a game this weekend...does anyone even care? There is absolutely no buzz about this team or these upcoming games. Very strange.

                    A very wise person predicted it would be this way. Bowl eligible, locked into the Armed Forces Bowl, QB controversy, awful opponents. Talk about a massive funk. Total w.a.s.t.e. indeed.

                            Seriously though I am geeked for this season. I am looking forward to seeing a BYU coach who understands player personnel and how to develop young talent.

                                I said that. I also said I'd remind Lebowski when BYU is announcing affiliation with some massive coast to coast conference confederation. This caused YOhio to call me a mean drunk, though I was stone sober. I haven't forgotten that.

                                        Ha... man I love Coach Rose, and he is the main reason I want to see BYU in the BIG 12, he deserves that kind of competition in his house. I sure miss the first version of Defensive Coordinator Bronco, with forever chapped and bleeding lips, coaching in shorts during a snow storm and trying to do the workouts harder than his players... I swore those players would run through walls for him... what happened to that guy?

                                                At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah
