      • Like a dog to his vomit I come crawling back to this thread every time a whiff of expansion news comes available. I need to rethink my life.

BYU will eventually be in the Big-12. It needs two more for a championship game and BYU offers it more than the other options. 2014 will be BYU's biggest year in decades. Jimmy Mac to the HOF, a likely undefeated year (no Utah on the schedule) and its last year showing that independent spirit!

I will be there to remind all you stringpulling pussies that much like Robert the Bruce, you lost faith!

              Because people want it to....
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Exactly what I was thinking. I am kind of getting into this Independence thing. Think about Fresno and N. Illinois going to a BCS game because they are undefeated. Heck we have a shot at doing that next year. I wouldn't mind seeing us drop Texas next year and add someone like Furhman.

How would your kids feel about tickets to a game against Fur(h)man?

Did you know that Fisher Deberry is an alumnus of Furman, the university, as opposed to the cop who screwed up the OJ evidence?

I will ask them next week while we are all down in Hawaii getting tans and golfing. I hope NBC in Hawaii broadcasts the ND vs BYU game.

I did mean Fuhrman, not Furman, you jackass. I would rather have a bye and listen to Furhman give a talk. It gives us an additional chance to not post a loss and go to a BCS game.

With all due respect 71, the ND game isn't next week.

That is 71's way of telling you he will be in Hawaii for 3 weeks.

Furhman Sherman. Let's smoke Texas and make a case for the playoff. BCS games are over-rated.
