He was kidding a bit, but I think they are definitely hoping for a Clemson + FSU link not BYU + Louisville as much, but it's still quite possible.

He was the one who emphasized that BYU was going to get into a big conference, however, recently just wasn't sure it was the B12...Texans don't think much of Californians but he said even people from California aren't dumb enough to exclude BYU in the era of superconferences, which he thinks is no more than 1-2 yrs away. All of this BCS talk is nothing but a precursor to the superconference alignment.

I think BYU is fine and I'm a happy owner of stock but it's going to be a wild ride, I think, B10/PAC12 are having to consider who's left and the top tier teams left only include ND and BYU. Lousville is a recent phenom as is Cincy but they can be included too
