SU has been trying to tell you this all along.

It may be true that we have never talked to the Big 12 and never will. But I find it hard to take a guy seriously who uses the exclamation point that much!!!!

joebravo has been around a while and he wouldn't troll. I believe he did have this conversation with Chad Lewis. What I don't know is whether Chad is just saying what TH told people to say to keep things close to the vest, or if JB was misinterpreting what CL was saying, or JB is trolling, or CL was telling the 100% truth.

My heart says that BYU is a legitimate option once the Big 12 expands. It makes sense to me. Outside of that, I will take everything anybody say on either side of the coin, with a grain of salt.

Joebravo says that BYU didn't have talks but he also concedes that BYU may receive an invite in the future based on new factors that may be pertinent when the Big 12 decides to expand again.

Vegas was a blast for the tourney... getting wasted and bar fights with Wyoming fans were always one of my favorite traditions with friends (a few Wyoming dudes we still hung out with after... have family in Star Valley). Other than it being a home series for UNLV I loved everything about games there. Didn't go this year for the WCC though, I wanted to see what it was like in the new tiny venue.

I really like Kansas City though, and would love it if BYU had a chance to be a part of that. Can't beat a town built on Barbecue in my mind. Plus I don't think I'd go broke there like Vegas and New York both tend to sucker me into.

Keep the faith, man. BYU/Big 12 are meant for each other. You will see. However, Texans dream big and spiteful and right now big and spiteful would be a nuclear holocaust on the SEC by going after Clemson/FSU in retaliation for that panty raid in Columbia Missoura last fall. Let it play out.

And to hell w/ NYC. I thought West Virginians were real men. Real men don't sip wine in downtown Manhattan before a basketball game. They drink beer and eat red meat served by ex-cons who lean over the counter and shout "The bread is over there" after handing you a heaping plate of brisket down at 18th and Vine. Oliver Luck needs to grow a pair, remember where he's from and quit sipping that spritzer(sp?).

When I was a kid, my dad would take us to a Royals game every summer and every year we'd stop off at Arthur Bryants to eat. My dad loved it and talked about it all year like some sort of gormet restaurant. To me, I was a wide eyed farm boy getting yelled at by big black men 'cause I asked where the bread was for my sandwich. Only after I grew up did I understand why dad loved the place.

I am all for it primarily because I think it would be great for BYU.
