Gary Patterson on playing OU/UT at cowboys stadium...

FORT WORTH - One popular theory with some plausibility was politely shot to hell by TCU football coach Gary Patterson.

End the idea that TCU's inclusion to the Big 12 included any sort of guarantee that some of TCU's future home football games against Oklahoma or Texas would be played in Cowboys Stadium rather than Amon G. Carter Stadium.

"I don't think so. We built our stadium to play in it," Patterson said after TCU's press conference to announced it would join the Big 12. "If we play in Cowboys Stadium now it's for a non-conference game.

"We built (up) our stadium because we want purple in it," GP said. "We're going to have to use it to our advantage."
