He just found out that due the fact that BYU isn't going to the BIG 12 we will be playing more subdivision teams. Hes excited that more games will be on BYUtv!

Didn't BYU want:

(1) A stable Big 12? (formal grant of TV rights for 6 years)

(2) to be able to show games on BYUtv? (Sounds like BYU can do that under this agreement)

I understood that part as well I think his question points out that BYU is not mentioned in that blurb. This doesn't necessarily mean anything for BYU so as it relates to BYU there's still a snag.

Edit: Ok, he didn't understand that part but even if I did I still question how that truly means BYU is in.

The key is to remember BYU said no because it wants the world to know the the Catholics stood with us on Prop 8 and we will never leave their side. Gary Patterson is likely to thank us for helping him with his program!

I came on here to admit that all hope is lost and that we should have seen it when the BSU series was announced. And then McCann tweets that? What could he possibly mean with that tweet and smiley face other than BYU is going to the B12?

Assuming all is lost. You guys need to take a deep breath. Nothing has happened to make our program worse than it was a year ago, or even 10 years ago. Lets remember that this doesn't relegate us to 2nd tier status. We've always been 2nd tier status. And we enjoyed the ride. Didn't we?

There never was any hope. Nobody wants us because we are a weird cult and our way of dealing with it is making sure that everyone knows we don't think our shit stinks.

You know, when Peggy Sue Rotencrotch told you she wouldn't go steady with you in the 7th grade and you began to feel rapid blood movement towards certain parts of your body that eminate bad odor and you responded to the other guys on your soccer team: "I really didn't like her anyway!"
