DFW is #1 best sports city even with the stoopid cowboys.

what is it that you like about Dallas? i am being serious. i dont get the love texans have for that place. it seems more suited for convention type events than actual tourism. i'd much rather spend a weekend in Austin than Dallas.

He doesn't really follow this conference expansion talk so he has had to ask for updates and brief summaries over 200 times.

Edit: I like the direct (non-stop) flights from DFW. I used to do that crap from SLC and it was a major PITA to travel anywhere except Denver.

                  • It would seem to me that all this talk about "imminent invites" is a bit premature since I think that the Big 12 will have to figure out who they still have before they can figure out who to invite.

But I'm just a simple engineer, so what do I know.

A friend of mine who lived there liked to say "Dallas is a great place to live, but you wouldn't want to visit there."

DFW is a convenient airport, I agree. I also agree that SLC is a lousy airport, at least by comparison.

Speaking only for myself, the airport ranks pretty low on reasons why I like or dislike a city. To each his own, I guess.

this seems accurate. at least the visit part.

Please do not lump in Texans when you speak of your love of Dallas. Most people in Houston would rather live in hell or Provo than Dallas. There are more of us than there are of them (until you count Fort Worth).
Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

I don't have love for Dallas! I think it is a lame city.

Houston has great eats, but of course we have already discussed this.

I thought Houston and Hell were the same place.
