For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I don't know if we ever win that division. Let alone CCG.
They would have to tweak things to get some parity. Thats a brutal schedule for any of those teams in the west.

It is this. The pod thing was discussed with the possible pac-16.Originally posted by LiveCoug View PostHow does the PAC 12 do it? I didn't really pay attention. I know they were talking about some weird pod system? Chip Brown, late this afternoon, on Mizzou:
David Ubben on why Missouri should stay in the Big 12...The sources I talk to around the Big 12 feel like only the Mizzou curators really know what's going to happen.
But it has the feel of the A&M and OU situations in which the curators are hearing so much from the fan base right now to go to the SEC that it could be that most of MU's following has already mentally checked out of the Big 12.
It used to be that if Mizzou left the Big 12, the conference wouldn't survive. But the TV partners seem to think as long as Texas and OU are in the B12, there's a collection of teams that can still be put together to command the its current TV revenue.
http://espn.go.com/blog/big12/post/_...-in-the-big-12Think Texas A&M's move to the SEC is risky? (It is.)
At least the Aggies are located in one of America's most fertile recruiting grounds and at least have a hope of beating out Texas and/or Oklahoma for top-flight recruits.
[...]
Missouri, as it stands, is built to sustain this success. Before the four Southwest Conference schools merged with the Big 8, Missouri struggled through 12 consecutive losing seasons and the program played in two bowl games from 1984-2002.
Since Pinkel established those recruiting inroads in a conference with four Texas schools and three Texas bowl tie-ins of varying prestige, he's been to the postseason in seven of eight seasons, including four berths in bowls played in Texas.
The next step? Spoiler alert: It's not located anywhere near Birmingham, Ala.
[...]
Plenty of folks at Missouri don't want the Big 12. I don't blame them. It's frustrating to be embroiled in what's now become annual shakeups. There's no shame in wanting out. Right now, though, there's no realistic exit strategy that would be good for the program."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.
"I honestly believe saying someone is a smart lawyer is damning with faint praise. The smartest people become engineers and scientists." -SU.
"Yet I still see wisdom in that which Uncle Ted posts." -creek.
GIVE 'EM HELL, BRIGHAM!

If you're talking about balancing the conference out, I think Texas and OU would prefer to come from different divisions, no? Let them have the possibility of facing each other in the CCG, no?Originally posted by Coach McGuirk View PostYou could zipper it
