This is part of the reason BYU is not a good replacement for Nebraska or A&M...just better than the other options :
Nebraska fans have purchased 30k tickets for their game in Madison this weekend.

How did Wisconsin have 30K seats available for Nebraska? Even scalped that seems enormous.

I don't know about you, but I'm more disappointed in missing out on Northern Kentucky. lol

In fact, I don't even know why the Big 12 was considering USF when they could have locked down two Kentucky teams. I'm sure the Hilltoppers are available.

I don't know how they do it, but they do. I'm assuming they hit all the online ticket resellers and stuhub type sites. Anyone who isn't a complete die-hard is tempted to sell their ticket for a nice profit when Nebraska comes to town because their demand drives up the resell price so much.

Unfortunately at Wisconsin the visual won't be quite as striking. But the noise will be there and it will be unlike anything Wisconsin fans have experienced from a visiting team at Camp Randall.

That isn't impressive. Wyo only averages 15k fans in a stadium that seats 29k.

Supposedly the fans are going to wear black in order to make the difference noticeable. Normally I would be opposed to this, as Nebraska's colors are Scarlet and Cream, NOT black. However, in this instance I support it.

Wisconsin offers visiting fans in conference games 3,000 tickets. The rest will be bought online and outside the stadium. The ticket prices will be sky high, but the die-hards don't care. They just want to be there. A co-worker of mine also claims to know a guy who bought Wisconsin season tickets just to get tickets to this game. Nebraska fans are as intense as they come...yet incredibly respectful and polite at the same time.

I think it is impressive. Neither BYU or Utah were able to do anything like that in Wyoming. Notice the seating in the end zones? Yeah, that's not normally there. They brought in extra seats just to accomodate the number of Nebraska fans that wanted to attend.

Looking at all the empty parking spots in the adjacent lot I wonder if all that yellow is the color of the seats.
