Assuming there is an agreement, I would guess Monday. However, the BIG XII may want to say something sooner than later.

I've noticed this whole conference shake up thing has really affected your language. That stuff may be ok in the backwoods of Dayton, but around these parts we would appreciate it, if you keep your potty mouth to yourself.

I was talking about the implications for fan support, mostly. It's great to say "raise the bar" and all that. But the reality of being in a BCS conference means that you can be a pretty darn good team and still only win seven games some years.

Is this going to be a shock to the BYU fanbase? Or do you think most of them are prepared for it?

That is hilarious. I have little exposure to the Texan version of Aggies, but they seem to be pretty unintentionally amusing. I recently saw a thread somewhere with Aggies screwing up simple multiplication. It was great.

Fellas, I really feel compelled to totally emphasize that what I've heard about the deal being done didn't originate with anyone close to the BYU program...it comes from my buddy deep in the heart of Texas. I understand that there could be some serious consequences for AD employees at BYU for leaks at this time so I really want to make sure to stress that my buddy was getting his info from down south.

He's been right about all except that he thought A&M would turn tail and stick around.

As I've said, I've had zero contact with anyone from BYU and I guarantee that they wouldn't tell me anything anyway.
